Basque Burnt Cheesecake from The Dessert Party

CLASSIC

Basque Burnt Cheesecake

from S$7

Caramelised on top, barely set in the middle. The classic, done properly.

A Basque burnt cheesecake from The Dessert Party starts at S$7 a slice, with whole cakes also available. Made with no crust and no gelatin, baked fresh in Tampines, Singapore. Order by 9pm for next-day pickup, or islandwide delivery from S$11.90.

Baked hot and fast, so the top goes properly dark while the middle stays barely set. No crust, no gelatin, nothing propping it up. Cream cheese, cream, eggs, sugar, and attention.

Let it come up to room temperature before you cut it. Fridge-cold is a waste of a good Basque. By the slice or whole.

Preorders close 9pm for next-day pickup or delivery. Islandwide delivery from S$11.90. See options.

GOOD TO KNOW

About the Basque Burnt Cheesecake

How much is a Basque burnt cheesecake in Singapore?

Ours starts at S$7 a slice. Whole cakes are available too. Islandwide delivery is S$11.90, or collect free from our Tampines bakery.

How far in advance do I need to order?

Order by 9pm and it is baked the following morning. There is no same-day ordering, because everything is made the day it goes out.

How should I serve it?

Let it come up to room temperature before cutting. A Basque eaten straight from the fridge is a waste of a good one. Around thirty minutes out of the fridge is usually right.

Does it contain gelatin or alcohol?

No. There is no gelatin, no alcohol, no pork and no lard in anything we bake. The cheesecake is cream cheese, cream, eggs and sugar, held together by nothing but the bake.

How long does it keep?

It is best on the day it arrives. Refrigerated in its box it will hold for two to three days, and it is still very good on day two.
