The flash dessert box is a surprise box of whatever The Dessert Party baked that morning, offered at a sweeter price than the usual menu. It is posted at 11.30am on the @thedessertparty Instagram Stories every day the Tampines shop is open, which is Monday and Wednesday to Sunday. Sets are limited, you claim one by sending an Instagram DM, and it is first come, first served. It cannot be preordered, because the contents are not known until the bakes come out of the oven.

What is in a flash dessert box?
Whatever came out of the oven that morning — a mix of that day’s tarts, cakes, cookies and tiramisu. The line-up changes daily and is never announced in advance, which is the whole point of it.
What time does the flash box drop?
11.30am, on our Instagram Stories, on every day the shop is open. We are closed on Tuesdays and public holidays, so there is no drop on those days. Turn on story notifications so it reaches you.
Can I preorder or reserve a flash box?
No. The box is made from that morning’s bakes, so there is nothing to reserve ahead of time. If you need something specific on a specific day, order from the menu by 9pm the night before instead.
How do I claim one?
Send us a DM on Instagram once the story is up. First come, first served. You can collect it free from 406 Tampines St 41 #01-23 or arrange islandwide delivery.
Why is the flash box cheaper?
Because you don’t choose what goes in it. It is made up of that morning’s bakes, and the sweeter price is for taking the day’s selection as it comes.
Is the flash box announced by email?
No, only on Instagram Stories. It changes daily and a daily email would clog your inbox. The mailing list carries festive preorders and new bakes instead.
