Most birthday cakes in Singapore want a week’s notice. Ours want until 9pm. Order tonight, we bake it in the morning, and it is at the door the same day.
The Dessert Party delivers birthday desserts across Singapore the next day, with orders closing at 9pm the night before. Boxes start at S$25 and a whole 8-inch Cempedak Crumble Cake is S$55. We do not decorate or personalise cakes, so there are no piped names or toppers; a free handwritten message card goes in the box instead.

WHAT WE DO, AND WHAT WE DO NOT
We do not decorate cakes. No piped names, no tiers, no character toppers, no sugar flowers. If that is the birthday you are planning, a specialist decorator will serve you better than we will, and we would rather say so now.
What we do is bake a small, fixed range properly, the morning it reaches you, and get it to the door fast. If you want the birthday to feel personal, the personalising happens on the box: custom boxes take your own printed label, and a handwritten card is free on any order.

Three ways people do a birthday here
One box, sent to them. The most common. Pick a box, put their address in at checkout, add the message. It arrives the next day and nothing in the box mentions what it cost.
Something to cut at the table. A whole 8-inch Cempedak Crumble Cake at S$55, or a whole Basque burnt cheesecake. Plain, as baked. Bring your own candles.
A box for everyone to take home. Custom boxes from S$10 each with your own label, minimum one week ahead. For a bigger party, a styled dessert table from S$680 covers the spread, the props and the setup.
Questions we get asked
Can you make a custom birthday cake with a name on it?
No. We don’t decorate or customise cakes, so there are no piped names, tiers or toppers. The personalising goes on the box instead: custom boxes carry your own printed label, from S$10 a box with a week’s notice.
How late can I order for tomorrow?
9pm. It’s baked the next morning and delivered that day. Birthdays get no longer a lead time than anything else, which is usually why people find us in a hurry.
Can I get a whole cake?
Yes. The 8-inch Cempedak Crumble Cake is S$55, and the Basque burnt cheesecake is available whole. Both come as they are baked, undecorated.
Can you write a message?
Yes, free of charge. Add the wording at checkout and we’ll write it out by hand and tuck it into the box.
Can I send it straight to them?
Yes. Enter their address at checkout and add your message. We never put the price in the box. Ordering from overseas for someone in Singapore is fine too.
Is it safe for a mixed group?
We never use pork, lard, alcohol or gelatin, and none of it is in the kitchen. We’re not MUIS certified, and the kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs and nuts. What this means.
