The Dessert Party bakes Chinese New Year desserts and reunion platters in Singapore, baked fresh in Tampines and delivered islandwide from S$14.90. Boxes on the menu start at S$15, platters at S$50. Preorders open ahead of the season and slots fill quickly. Chinese New Year 2027 falls on Saturday 6 February. We are closed from 6 to 9 February, and the last order before the break is 9pm on Thursday 4 February.

CHINESE NEW YEAR 2027
Chinese New Year falls on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February 2027, with Monday 8 February as the substitute holiday. With our usual Tuesday closure, the shop is shut from Saturday 6 to Tuesday 9 February.
Reunion eve is Friday 5 February, the last day to collect or receive a delivery before the break. Its orders close at 9pm on Thursday 4 February, and the days either side of the holiday are the busiest of our year, so order early. We reopen for house visiting on Wednesday 10 February.

THE PRACTICAL BIT
The two jobs at CNY are different. Visiting needs something individually packed that survives being carried around all afternoon. The reunion table needs something that can sit out and be picked at.
Nothing we bake contains pork or lard, which is worth knowing if your gathering has guests who avoid it. Order early, because the days either side of the holiday are our busiest of the year.

Do you take Chinese New Year preorders?
Yes, and they open ahead of the season. Mailing list subscribers hear first.
Are you open during Chinese New Year?
No. We are closed from Saturday 6 to Tuesday 9 February 2027, for three public holidays plus our usual Tuesday closure. The last order before the break is 9pm on Thursday 4 February, for Friday 5 February, and we reopen on Wednesday 10 February.
What travels best for house visiting?
The 6pcs Cookies in a Bottle at S$28 and the All-Time-Favourites Box at S$25. Both are sealed and hold up to being carried.
