DEEPAVALI 2026
Deepavali falls on Sunday 8 November, and the public holiday carries over to Monday 9 November. Add our usual Tuesday closure and the shop is shut from Sunday 8 to Tuesday 10 November.
That makes Saturday 7 November the last day to collect or receive a delivery before the holiday, and its orders close at 9pm on Friday 6 November.

FOR A MIXED TABLE
Nothing on the label anyone has to check.
There is no pork, lard, alcohol or gelatin in anything we bake, and none of it in the kitchen either. Ask guests about dietary requirements before ordering. We are not MUIS halal certified. Our shared kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs and nuts, so cross-contact is possible.
Our bakes do contain dairy and eggs. If you need to know exactly what is in a particular item, ask and we will send the full list. What our four promises mean.

Deepavali questions
What should I order for Deepavali?
Boxes from the menu for visiting and giving, and sharing platters for the table. Preorder by 9pm for next-day delivery, and earlier in the week if you need a specific day.
Is everything vegetarian-friendly?
Nothing we bake contains pork, lard, alcohol or gelatin, so nothing has hidden animal gelatin in it. Our bakes do contain dairy and eggs, so they suit lacto-ovo vegetarians but not a strict vegan or a no-egg observance. Tell us when you order and we will say plainly which items work.
Can I have the boxes delivered to several homes?
Yes. Each address goes in as a separate order at checkout, with its own message card and delivery fee.
How far ahead should I order for Deepavali?
Order by 9pm the night before. For a specific day in festival week, order earlier, because festival weeks fill up and we only bake what one person can bake in a morning.
Can you put a message on the box?
Yes, on a message card in the box. Add the wording at checkout.
When is the last order before Deepavali 2026?
9pm on Friday 6 November, for collection or delivery on Saturday 7 November. We are closed from Sunday 8 to Tuesday 10 November for the holiday and our usual Tuesday closure, and open again on Wednesday 11 November.
